I am honored to be invited by Polk County Chairman John Bloom to serve as the Chairman of the Robb Kelley Victory Club and Annual Dinner. What a great way to help the Republican Party in Iowa's largest county (over 10% of the state wide vote) while at the same time paying tribute to Robb Kelley, a good friend and great Republican.

Bob Burnett, our Honorary Chairman and I sincerely appreciate your considering support for this new club, the purpose of which is to adequately fund the Party's efforts in Polk County to win more seats at the county and legislative level and help our statewide candidates get more votes out of Polk County.

When I was State Chairman and National Committeeman, I had the privilege to work closely with Robb who was very supportive of the Republican Party at the local, state and national level. During the years Robb was active, we elected Ronald Reagan President, Chuck Grassley to the U.S. Senate and Terry Branstad Governor.

Robb was a tireless worker and helped us particularly in fundraising. From making his own personal contributions and soliciting his friends to hosting events in the EMC company lobby, Robb was dedicated to making the party's finance efforts successful.

He believed with all his heart that America was the greatest nation on earth and the Republican Party the best hope for preserving America's greatness and our freedoms.

We ask you to join us in honoring Robb Kelley for his untiring commitment to the Republican cause by supporting the Robb Kelley Victory Club.

As a Charter Member, you will be invited to our annual Robb Kelley Dinner in the Sp[ring of 2010 and future years. With adequate financing of Polk County by the Robb Kelley Victory Club, Chairman John Bloom and Co-Chairman Will Rogers will be able to rebuild, organize, recruit candidates and turn out the vote for a victory in 2010 and beyond.

Dear Republican Friends,

It is a real privilege to serve as the Chairman of the Republican Party of Polk County. Will Rogers and I were elected last spring to lead the GOP in the largest populated county where more than 10% of the total Iowa votes cast, are cast right here.

That means we have a lot of work cut out for us as we rebuild the party right down to the Precinct level, recruit Precinct committee men and women and volunteers. Our job is to locate over 1,000 volunteers to help our candidates conduct surveys, man phone banks and make certain we help turn out voters on election day. We must and we will send Senator Chuck Grassley back to the U.S. Senate and send Leonard Boswell into retirement with a new Republican Congressman from the Third District.

With your help, we will put conservative common sense Republicans back in charge of State Government by electing a new Governor and taking back the Iowa Legislature.

We are pleased to have founded the Robb Kelley Victory Club as a means to honor a great leader in Des Moines and provide a fundraising method that not only helps raise the necessary financial resources for a winning campaign but at the same time pays tribute to a good man like Robb Kelley. Our special thanks to Steve Roberts and Bob Burnett for providing their support.
